New Hall was appointed by a local landowner to promote this 20-acre site in 2015.

The planning application was dealt with in two phases. An application for up to 75 dwellings on the southern part of the site was submitted in January 2016. A further application for up to 85 dwellings on the northern part of the site was submitted in January 2017.

Despite being recommended for approval Mid Suffolk planning committee decided to refuse both applications.

An appeal was lodged and planning permission was granted for the 143 unit scheme in May 2018

The site was sold to Linden Homes in 2019.
